Designing impactful research

Assessing the impact of your research is all the more achievable if this has been a core tenet of the project’s process from the start. With this in mind, we assist with initial project design & ideation, right through to delivering monitoring and evaluation packages at the end of your project.

Assessing public engagement

One common criticism of academic research is that it often fails to engage with communities beyond academia. Given the Lab’s commitment to co-designed & co-created collaborative research, we always consider and engage with all beneficiaries who might otherwise be overlooked. Our experience & perspective on your work can help identify those opportunities.

Developing M&E logframes

Our research methods take two forms; quantitative research deals with data that can ‘be counted’; we address your existing data and/or co-design new impact indicators with you at ideation stage. We are also experienced in qualitative research methods such as interviewing beneficiaries, longitudinal asset mapping, ethnography, and workshop methods.

Final project reporting

With experience in project design, development & evaluation, we can assist in delivering final reports as necessary. We have a track-record working with transformational projects, whether aiming at hitting numeric targets or changing opinion in a group of people, and have experience running iterative evaluations in order to plot those shifts.
